This is a drum solo competition I entered while living in San Luis Obispo, California. Out of 20+ drummers, I placed 2nd. Without a drumset, practice was limited, so I was pleased with the outcome. People were gracious enough to let me borrow equipment just prior to the competition. I have played drums since I was 7 years old.
This photo shows me playing and facing the line of judges. There were about 600 people present- quite a popular event for a small town.
