Compared to the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, the SD790 actually outperforms in basic point-and-shoot mode, especially in focusing. Colors seemed true and accurate. It’s super easy to use. For professional photography, it makes sense to always keep a basic point-and-shoot camera like this on-hand, in addition to any SLRs.
