Unique obstacles along the hike

Getting to Rush Creek Falls was ridiculously difficult and I will never do it again. It was a 1.4 mile bushwack through dense forest. It took 2 hrs each way. It’s uncommon to have a 200ft waterfall not even shown on maps. Few people see this place and I now know why.

Mt. Rainier is a beautiful place. The photos were taken on May 24th, 2009- a popular day for climbing. I was able to spot 44 climbers- some visible as little dots in the above 2 photos. The first shows people near the summit, the second is near Camp Muir. I hope to climb it someday.
