Recommendation Letters

To Whom It May Concern:

I highly recommend Trent Mueller for any Marketing, or Webmaster position you may be considering him for. Trent worked for me while I was Vice President/Marketing with Columbia Analytical Services. During the time we worked together he made a huge impact on our company’s branding. He updated our company logo and gave us a much more professional look, all following a theme of “Trusted Technical Expertise.” He created a Style Guide to be used company-wide for everything from emails, PowerPoint presentations, to our promotional materials and website.

As Webmaster, Trent totally revamped the look, content and optimized it for Google and other search engines. In the first year, traffic to our site grew from 3,000 to 20,000 visits per month. Likewise, prospective business contacts from our website grew from 30 to 100 per month in the same time frame.

In addition to having excellent Marketing and Webmaster skills, Trent has been a great team player. He eagerly participates with the other members of the team, sharing his ideas and expertise. He is always ready to jump in anywhere we need help.

If you would like any more information about Trent, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Ed Wilson

As the Director of Marketing for Timbercon and his direct supervisor, it has been a pleasure working with Trent Mueller as Webmaster during the past year.

Trent's knowledge of web design, search engine optimization and web marketing has helped make our new website a great success. He helped transform our small 40-page website into a large 2,500-page website- all professionally designed and optimized. Since Trent has come on board, organic traffic to our website has multiplied 6 times, resulting in 50% more sales leads, with web sales increasing $125,000 within the first 6 months.

Trent has been reliable and consistent in his work ethic and has been a solid contributor to the team. He takes ownership of his projects, works well independently, and has been enjoyable to work with during his time here.

I give Trent my strong recommendation. If you should have any questions or clarifications, feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Sean Gitt

To whom it may concern:

It has been a complete pleasure having Trent Mueller as Marketing Specialist at 20/20 Software. In his marketing role, I've recognized several core strengths in his performance and work ethic.

Trent is fully capable of "wearing a lot of hats." He served as a one-man marketing communications department - managing advertising, PR, promotions, sales & e-commerce, as well as customer service for our developer tools. Trent served as the creative source and producer of company marketing materials. In addition, Trent managed the international distributor network and dealt with the hiring and training of our receptionist.

Being very organized and methodical in solving problems effectively, Trent's ability has served us well - from his time of hire to the acquisition of our company. Had the acquisition not taken place, I am confident Trent would've continued to escalate his service and management ability - providing increasing value to the company.

Trent sought new ways to improve systems and increase efficiency in the company. Whether in coordinating email blasts or designing software UI, Trent has been diligent, very effective in his work, and a great value to our company.

As President of 20/20 Software, I give Trent my strong professional endorsement, and believe he will be an asset to your business.

Sincerely,

Joe Wang

To whom it may concern:

It is with great pleasure that I be asked to write a Letter of Reference for Trent Mueller. Trent and I have worked closely in the Marketing Communications department of Creativepro.com and The Extensis Products Group for nearly 2 years, during which time Trent has been responsible for the creative production on hundreds of projects.

The ability to switch gears and approach any project with a fresh perspective and a basis of knowledge is critical to an in-house group which services an entire organization. Our company has been no exception to this. Fortunately, Trent has gained such a varied background in this role that he has easily been able to tackle our many different project types- projects ranging from Web and print advertising, to 30x60 foot tradeshow signage, to our visually complex 500,000-piece direct mail campaigns.

Beyond his creative abilities, Trent has shown an attention to our overall marketing messaging of these projects, and has had keen eyes on the consistency within the detail. Further, Trent had been a reliable, diligent asset to the team, paying attention to deadlines and going the extra mile when necessary to ensure they are met.

As you can tell, I have enjoyed working with Trent very much, but not only for the reasons cited above. Most important is a person's work ability to work with competing deadlines and priorities, and still be pleasant and fun to work with. Trent is simply a very nice person with a good work ethic that has made working with him a pleasure.

Should you desire and more detail regarding my work experience with Trent, I encourage you to call me. I am happy to offer a personal reference by phone.

Best Regards,

To Whom It May Concern:

It has been my pleasure to manage Trent Mueller in the software quality assurance department at Extensis Corporation. Trent joined the QA group as a contractor in late March of 1997, and was subsequently hired as a regular employee. He came to Extensis with prior training and experience as a designer using graphics software, but had no prior experience in software product development and testing.

Trent learned to be a thorough and capable software tester. The development team relied on his extensive knowledge of how a designer uses our products. He has been very good at ferreting out problems. He always thought through the testing process carefully to make sure he had identified all the areas to hit, and was methodical in tracking down problems and writing them up concisely for the software engineers.

Trent's attention to detail is exemplary. He thinks though all the areas that are likely to be affected by a change, and follows each one up. For example, when asked to review the product brochure for accuracy, he thought to also check the web page, which turned out to have been overlooked when the other product information was updated.

Trent treated the rest of the product development team as his customers, and was committed to providing the service they needed, when they needed it. When schedules were tight, he volunteered to work longer hours to get things done. He was cheerful and cooperative, and always pleasant to work with.

I was particularly impressed how conscientious Trent was in putting together the information that his successor would need. He out in a lot of effort to get a test plan written and reviewed, and other planning information pulled together, before leaving the QA department for Marketing Communications.

I am sorry to lose Trent from the QA group, and would hire him back any time.

Sincerely,

Janet Lunde

To Whom It May Concern:

It has been my pleasure to work with Trent Mueller in the Adams Center for Teaching Excellence at ACU. As his direct supervisor, I had the opportunity to observe the results of his work, but also to see his initiative and creativity, and his sense of responsibility to our customers, the faculty.

Trent organized our Faculty Production Area, ordering, installing, configuring and troubleshooting various hardware and software components. In doing so, he was unfailingly cheerful and helpful, even with last-minute requests. He demonstrated an ability to work with a wide range of people, some with high technical skills, and some with almost none, and an ability to solve problems. In addition, he brought to us valuable graphical and design capabilities.

I believe Trent would be an asset to any organization, and he has my strong recommendation.

Sincerely,

James Langford

To Whom It May Concern:

Trent Mueller was employed at The World newspaper as a Graphic Artist for the summer. He has been an excellent addition to our staff. During his time here he has shown himself to be a diligent worker and willing to give his best efforts at all assignments given to him. He learns new tasks quickly with minimal instruction.

Trent is skilled in using Photoshop, QuarkXPress and CorelDraw. He is also very good at creating and modifying graphics for use in our newspaper.

I have no doubt that Trent will quickly pick up whatever skills will be required in his next job, as he has with this one, and that he will be a great asset to his next employer.

His pleasant personality will be missed by everyone here and we wish him the best of luck.
